Canoe The Ouse - Raising awareness and funds for the MNDa

On the 25th April 2009 Cliff Elbourne and Dave Simmset off on a journey to raise funds and awareness for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by traversing the whole length of the Great River Ouse from Buckingham to The wash at Kings Lynn travelling in a Canadian canoe.

Despite some unexpected problems, so far the event has been a huge sucess, and the team would like to thank everyone who has helped and supported their efforts for the MNDa.

We are still collecting and if you haven't done so already you can still donate here at just giving.

The final leg of the journey from Oakley, through Bedford town centre and on to Great Barford will be completed soon. We hope once again to have live tacking available on the website so that you can follow the canoes progress live through the course of the day.
